Côte de Beaune is the southern half of the Côte d'Or and the heart of Burgundy's greatest white wines. While the region also produces elegant Pinot Noir, it is Chardonnay that has made villages such as Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Meursault legendary among wine lovers.
