Winery

2024 was a challenging but highly expressive vintage in Volnay, marked by a wet growing season, frost and reduced yields. The warmer and drier conditions towards harvest helped the grapes reach good maturity while preserving the natural freshness for which Volnay is known.

The Pinot Noir shows bright red cherry, raspberry, wild strawberry and violet, with delicate spice and savoury notes. The palate is fresh and energetic, with fine tannins, vibrant acidity and a precise mineral character.

Compared with the warmer 2022 and 2023 vintages, 2024 is more restrained and linear, with greater emphasis on freshness, perfume and finesse rather than concentration and power.
