Cuvée

Cuvée

Cuvée is the classic expression of Champagne, where Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier are blended to create balance, complexity and the signature identity of each producer. Rather than highlighting a single grape variety, a cuvée showcases the philosophy of the winemaker, bringing together different vineyard sites, grape varieties and, in many cases, reserve wines to achieve harmony and consistency.

Within our collection, each grower interprets the cuvée style differently. A. Lamblot crafts precise, terroir-driven Champagnes with remarkable energy and purity, often highlighting the character of individual vineyard sites. Dhondt-Grellet combines exceptional Chardonnay with carefully selected Pinot Noir to produce wines of tension, elegance and mineral precision. Aurore Casanova focuses on finesse and texture, creating refined Champagnes that balance freshness with subtle autolytic complexity. Benjamin Petit demonstrates how vintage cuvées can express both the personality of a single harvest and the identity of family-owned vineyards through extended lees ageing and meticulous vineyard work.

Despite their individual approaches, these Champagnes share the characteristics that define great grower cuvées: fine, persistent bubbles, vibrant acidity, layered aromas of citrus, orchard fruit and brioche, and a strong expression of terroir. Produced entirely from estate-grown fruit, they emphasise authenticity and vineyard identity over the consistency of large Champagne houses.

Our selection of grower cuvées represents the diversity of modern Champagne—wines that remain rooted in tradition while expressing the individuality of each producer, each vineyard and each vintage.
