Style:
A fresh and mineral-driven white Burgundy, focused on precision, tension, and elegance. Lively and linear, with a pure and vibrant profile.
Vineyard:
Located in Saint-Romain, in the lieu-dit “Sous le Château,” on high-altitude limestone soils. Cooler conditions and elevation contribute to pronounced freshness, acidity, and mineral character.
Winery:
Hand-harvested grapes, whole-bunch pressed and fermented with native yeasts. Aged in French oak barrels (mostly used) with lees contact, enhancing texture while preserving freshness and precision.
Nose/Palate:
Citrus, green apple, white flowers, and flinty mineral notes on the nose, followed by a light to medium-bodied palate with vibrant acidity, clean mineral-driven structure, citrus and orchard fruit flavors, and a crisp, fresh, precise finish.
