Dhondt-Grellet Roc Solare NV is a harmonious and versatile Champagne, offering both freshness and depth through a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. A great choice for those seeking balance, complexity, and everyday elegance in Champagne.

Vineyard

Sourced from selected parcels across the estate, including Premier and Grand Cru sites, with a focus on both Côte des Blancs (for finesse and minerality) and areas with Pinot Noir influence (for structure and depth).

Soils are predominantly chalk with some clay components, contributing balance between precision and body. Low yields ensure concentration and quality.

 Winery

Fermentation takes place in a combination of stainless steel and oak barrels, enhancing both purity and texture. A significant proportion of reserve wines is used, adding complexity and consistency to the non-vintage blend.

The wine is aged on lees for an extended period (around 24–36 months), developing richness and fine autolytic character.

Dosage: around 2–4 g/l (Extra Brut style – very dry)

 Nose / Palate

Nose: citrus fruits, ripe apple, yellow fruits, light spice, and subtle brioche notes.

Palate:

well-balanced between freshness and roundness
lively acidity
fine, creamy mousse
сочетание citrus and stone fruit with mineral undertones
long, harmonious finish

Dhondt-Grellet

Dhondt-Grellet is a small, family-run grower in the Côte des Blancs, now led by Adrien Dhondt, one of the most exciting voices of the new Champagne generation. Taking over at a young age, Adrien transformed the estate - farming around 6 hectares of Grand and Premier Cru vineyards - with a focus on living soils, organic and biodynamic principles, and meticulous parcel work.

Deeply inspired by Burgundy, his approach prioritizes ripeness, texture, and terroir expression, with nearly all wines fermented and aged in oak barrels using native yeasts and minimal intervention. Each cuvée is precise and site-driven, often highlighting individual plots from villages like Cramant and Cuis, resulting in wines that are both mineral and richly structured.

Production remains limited, and the style is unmistakable - pure, layered, and intensely vinous Champagnes that bridge the finesse of the Côte des Blancs with a deeper, more textural expression. Dhondt-Grellet stands as a benchmark for modern grower Champagne, combining craftsmanship, curiosity, and a strong sense of place.
