Style:
A classic aged Tawny Port, focused on smoothness, nuttiness, and oxidative complexity. Softer and more rounded than Ruby Port, less intense than a 10–20 Year Tawny, yet very accessible and elegant.
Vineyard:
Located in the Douro Valley, mainly in the Rio Torto and Pinhão valleys. Vineyards are planted on classic schist soils in a warm continental climate, providing concentration, richness, and a classic Port structure.
Winery:
Produced using traditional foot treading in lagares and fortified with grape spirit. Aged in very old oak casks for approximately 6–7 years, developing oxidative complexity and smooth texture.
Nose:
Dried figs, plums, nuts, caramel, and toffee.
Palate:
Medium to full-bodied, with flavors of dried fruit, honey, nuts, and caramel. Creamy and rounded texture, supported by subtle spice and oak notes, leading to a long, smooth, and elegant finish.
