Style:
A powerful and structured Atlantic white, driven by minerality, salinity, and precision. Complex and expressive, with strong aging potential.
Vineyard:
Located on Porto Santo (Madeira), sourced from old vines planted on rare limestone (“crosta calcária”) soils. This unique terroir, combined with strong Atlantic influence, produces wines with pronounced salinity, tension, and mineral depth.
Winery:
Hand-harvested grapes, whole-bunch pressed and fermented with native yeasts. Vinified in a combination of stainless steel and neutral oak, followed by extended lees aging to enhance texture and complexity.
Production:
~600 bottles.
Nose/Palate:
Citrus, grapefruit, flint, iodine, and subtle smoky notes on the nose, followed by a medium to full-bodied palate with vibrant acidity, dense mineral-driven structure, citrus and saline flavors, textured mouthfeel, and a long, precise, persistent finish.
